Victoria's £26,000
style splurge
Have you ever found yourself
studying Victoria and asking yourself, 'how does she
look so good?' Well, the truth is, if you have £26,000
a month to spare then you too can look as glam as Posh!
Recently she managed to blow a whopping £25K in just
two hours on D&G goodies - but not even the mighty
Mrs Beckham can keep this up every month.

| WARDROBE
Since
becoming music producer Damon Dash's hip-hop protege
(ahem), Victoria has returned to the party scene. And of
course, as an award-winning style icon, she has stepped
out in a different paparazzi-seducing,
hot-from-the-catwalk outfit for each do.
Recently she was able to blow a whopping £25K on
D&G goodies in just two hours. But even the mighty
Mrs Beckham can't make this a regular occurence!
We reckon Victoria's social calendar in the last month
has run to two events per week. An outfit from her
favourite designers, Dolce & Gabbana or Versace,
would set her back, on average, £2,000 each time. And
that's a modest estimation - let's not forget that this
is the woman who spent a whopping £4,000 on D&G
underwear in one shopping trip!
Total splurge on clothes per month: Wearing
outfits that win headlines sets diva-esque Victoria back
£20,000.
STYLE CALCULATOR TOTAL: £25,977.

How to Dress Like a Spice
PETUNIA COTTONTAIL
How to dress like a Spice? The question that has
plagued me since I first heard the sweet sounds of those
five fashionistas. Aside from some common themes such as
tall footwear and short skirts, each Spice was always
true to her own (albeit heavily manufactured) style. One
must decide which Spice you find yourself drawn to, and
then shop from there.
The mysterious member of the group, Posh spent plenty of
time posing and incorporating needless sexy hand
gestures into her singing.
TRADEMARKS:
- Little Gucci Dress: Was it really
Gucci or did they just buy a black tube dress off the
rack? Either way, it was hot.
- Stilettos: The taller, the better;
Victoria is the master of the stiletto. Whether it’s
driving a double-decker bus over a bridge, performing
boppy cheoreography, or attracting a sexy footballer,
Posh never once teetered.
- Sexy Pout: Toothy smiles are so
boring.
BEST FEATURE:
That cute little nose.
CURRENT STYLE:
Totally tanned, toned, and glam beyond belief. |

Attitude: Bargain beauties
Compiled by Helen Carson
If you've ever wanted Madonna's style and Britney's
body, we've taken a sneaky peak inside their make-up
bags to discover the must-have products some stars just
cannot live without.
And it's not all about having personal trainers and
stylists in tow. Some of the most gorgeous celebrities
use inexpensive, everyday products as part of their
skincare routine.
Victoria Beckham is one of the world's most photographed
women, yet she likes to borrow sons' Brooklyn and
Romeo's Johnson's Baby Wipes (£1.39, supermarkets
and chemists) to wipe the city grime off her face after
a hard day's shopping.
Actress Emilia Fox, who
is one of a host of glamorous women supporting the
Breast Cancer Campaign this year, uses Simple Facial
Wipes to maintain her English rose complexionOne-time
Posh Spice says she loves the gentle action of the wipes
and the fact they moisturise skin, too. And
English rose actress, Emilia Fox swears by Simple Facial
Wipes (£2.79, supermarkets and chemists) to keep
her complexion clear: "They're great because they
take eye make-up off too."
Meanwhile, both Madonna and Kylie love to pucker up with
Estee Lauder Pure Colour Lipsticks (£14.50, Boots/Debenhams), while Beauty Scoop co-writer Julia
Carling retains a flawless face with Estee Lauder's
Double Wear Stay in Place Makeup SPF10 (£20) and
Disappear Smoothing Creme Concealer (£14.50).
Britney's a fan, too, keeping her honed body smooth with
Estee Lauder's Beautiful Body Lotion (£29.50).
Girls about town should look no further than Benefit
with all the Manhattan man-eaters from Sex and the City
wearing these products with applomb! And, of course,
Atomic Kitten say Benefit's Kitten Classic Sparkling
Powder is their favourite thing for some added star
quality.
Have luscious lips like Angelina Jolie with Triple X
Lipshine by Urban Decay. She also adds drama with Urban
Decay's Skyscraper mascaraAnd what else would Angelina
Jolie paint on her famous pout but Urban Decay's Triple
X Lipshine (Boots/Debenhams, £10.50) with some
Skyscraper Mascara in Gotham (Boots/Debenhams, £12.50)
for a truly dramatic look.
Latino lovely J-Lo keeps it real with RoC Protient Face
Lifting Gel (Boots and chemists, £22.95) for
fresh-faced beauty on the red carpet, while all-action
Drew Barrymore loves Hard Candy nail colours (Boots,
£8.50) for a really polished performance.
One handbag essential
most of the A-list simply will not leave home without is
Bach Rescue Remedy (£3.95, chemists/healthfood
shops) which helps overcome the stress of being the
spotlight. Those who regularly pack the little yellow
bottle include Liz Hurley, Daryl Hannah and Victoria
Beckham.
Liz Hurley relies on Bach Rescue Remedy for serene inner
beautyBut for a real beauty boost, why not join the jet
set with an oxygen facial. Loved by Madonna, Caprice and
Jennifer Aniston, the Goddess facial is a non-invasive
burst of 99% pure oxygen which rejuvenates the skin. And
there's no need to book a first class ticket to
Hollywood when Gemini beauty salon (Bloomfield Road,
Belfast, telephone 9046 9479) offers the treatment
(single treatment, £60 or £280 for a course
of five). It claims to be anti-ageing, reduces the
effects of UV and leaves skin smoother and tighter as
well as helping restore elasticity. |
